Construction of Damac Heights began in 2011 and was completed by Q2 2018, making it the thirteenth tallest building in Dubai. Developed by Damac Properties, a leading luxury real estate developer, and designed by the renowned international architecture firm, U+A Architects, this project stands out for its architectural excellence.

One of the most famous hotels in the world. The building stands in the sea at a distance of 280 meters from the shore on an artificial island connected to the ground by a bridge. With a height of 321 m, Burj Al Arab was the tallest hotel in the world until the construction of the Rose Tower Hotel with a height of 333 m, which opened in April 2008. Currently, Burj El Arab ranks 5th among the highest hotels in the world. The hotel was built in the form of a dhow sail, an Arab vessel (therefore, in the vernacular, the hotel is often called a "Sail"). At an altitude of 210 meters there is a helipad, and on the other side there is a restaurant "El Muntaha" (Arabic for "Highest"), both are supported by cantilever beams.
