About project IBIZA at DAMAC Lagoons

Living in Ibiza grants you access to a plethora of exciting amenities, designed to recreate the lively coastal atmosphere of the popular island. One of the most famous hotels in the world. The building stands in the sea at a distance of 280 meters from the shore on an artificial island connected to the ground by a bridge. With a height of 321 m, Burj Al Arab was the tallest hotel in the world until the construction of the Rose Tower Hotel with a height of 333 m, which opened in April 2008. Currently, Burj El Arab ranks 5th among the highest hotels in the world. The hotel was built in the form of a dhow sail, an Arab vessel (therefore, in the vernacular, the hotel is often called a "Sail"). At an altitude of 210 meters there is a helipad, and on the other side there is a restaurant "El Muntaha" (Arabic for "Highest"), both are supported by cantilever beams.
