Dubai Racing Club (DRC) serves to organise and host horse racing at Meydan Racecourse, from November through to March, including the Dubai World Cup. Formed in 1992 to further develop and promote horse racing in Dubai, the first races held under rules were contested in March 1992 at the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse. Dubai World Cup is the highlight of Dubai’s sporting and social calendar and attracts the best horses and riders from all over the world.
